Who we are
We are a family business, based in Kent, UK, that specialises in gate products; including gate closers, gate hinges and gate latches. Between the two of us we have over 50 years of experience in both the gate and door industries.
We have worked extensively in both the UK and International markets, focusing on the design, production and distribution of innovative and highly reliable pedestrian gate and door products.

At Gate Control Gear, our approach to our business is simple. We aim to provide a full package of customer-centric products and services, that ensure everyone who has contact with our company keeps returning. We understand that instead of customers choosing a product from a list, it's much better to help customers to specify and purchase the correct products for their needs through advice and consultation. Application Assessment - We assess gate types, environments and potential usage requirements to establish what factors need to be allowed for when specifying products for a specific gate application or requirement.
Appropriate Product Selection - With so many different gate products available its very easy to select the incorrect one. We can walk you through the process, so you know your chosen product will minimise your site fitting time, but maximise gate functionality and the working life of each product.
Installation Support - When on site, just call us and we will be pleased to help you through the fitting of any of our products or if you have technical questions about an unusual gate system or arrangement.
